New York City

I loved going back to one of my favorite cities in the world, years after I last saw it. I went when I was around 9 years old. It's been over 10 years, and I had goosebumps as I laid eyes on it again.

I had three days there and was determined not to spend them staying at home, even though it was freezing cold. On the first day, I went to the Macy's day parade and then to a place I've wanted to visit for years. I went to Madame Tussauds wax museum. I wanted to go there mainly to see the Taylor Swift figure. Of course, I enjoyed all the other figures as well. Then, I got to go to Times Square and went to the M&M store again, which I went to once, years ago. I also went to a huge Disney showroom. I got to see lights that looked just like the Tangled lights.

The next day, I went to the MET museum, where the famous MET Gala is held every year. It was my first time going to a museum like that. Earlier, it was always science museums and my favorite children's museums. This one was filled with statues and sculptures and paintings, representing art from around the world.

The third day was dedicated to visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. By this time, I was too cold and too tired to be my usual energetic and lively self. Nevertheless, I took in the Statue's majesty again.

All in all, the trip was amazing and I am already looking forward to going back again someday. Hopefully, it won't take me 11 years to go back.
