A Girl's Girl

What does it mean to be a girl's girl? It's actually pretty simple.

I think it's really beautiful to be a girl's girl. It's really important for women to support one another. It's all about a woman being kind or genuinely good to another woman. She is a girl who respects other women and who knows how to treat them. One of the main things to keep in mind here is to respect the girl code.

This trend can be put in contrast to the 'pick me girl.' A pick-me girl does everything in her power to push other women down in order to get herself to the top. She is selfish and is willing to sabotage others. She is easily jealous and covets things that other women have worked hard for.

A girl's girl, on the other hand, celebrates other women. She feels genuine happiness for her friends. She would do anything to help a girl in dire need of assistance, even though she might be her greatest enemy. She might harbor some enmity, but she would help the girl if it was serious. She is honest and gives useful criticism. After all, no one can be right all the time. This is a way that women can get trustworthy feedback. A girl's girl doesn't feel jealous. She celebrates other women's successes. Back in the day, women were very competitive. For example, look at the portrayal of Regency England in Bridgerton. Young women had to compete with each other to secure a husband. They were made to rival each other.

A girl's girl doesn't have to swear off men. She doesn't need to restrict herself to female friendships alone. The important thing is that she never puts another woman down, just to be with her male companions.

It's all about embracing female companionship. The beauty that a woman feels when she is surrounded by a group of supportive and loving girls is like no other. It energizes and motivates her.
